Driverdt works as the driver application that coincides with Downtowner, an application located in the iTunes Store. Driverdt allows authorized Downtowner drivers to receive, accept, and deny rides created by users of the Downtowner application. Drivers using Driverdt will be able to view all necessary information in order to complete their pick ups and drop offs. This includes the pick up and drop off locations, the drivers estimated time of arrival, and a map. Drivers can also schedule breaks, as well as create new rides.
Bear in mind that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
